There are several ways for you to pay tribute to the life of someone special, at the same time make a lasting difference to the natural world.
Funeral or memorial collections
Organise a collection in aid of the Horstmann Trust at a funeral or memorial service.
We can provide special collection envelopes or simply mark the anniversary of someone special by making a donation on that date, knowing that all money raised goes to supporting our vital work. To request collection envelopes, please contact us.
In Memory tribute funds
Celebrate the life of a loved one by setting up your own online JustGiving page for friends and family to make a donation in memory.
First, create an account on JustGiving and then start fundraising choosing The Horstmann Trust as your chosen charity. Simply select “Start fundraising” to create your fundraising page.
Some people bake cakes, some run marathons and others simply make a donation on a significant date like a birthday or anniversary.

Memorial benches, trees or plaques
A memorial bench or tree is a thoughtful way to remember a loved one. It can stand as a reminder of their life for many years to come. It’s also a place for family and friends to reflect on memories and shared moments.
If you’re looking for a way to create a memorial for a loved one, then you can apply to donate a memorial bench or tree within our grounds. The tree or bench can also have a plaque in dedication or plaques can be placed on an existing bench or tree.
